The RayNeo Air 3s has been officially unveiled at MWC 2025. Even though the new XR glasses are more affordable than their predecessors, they come with better specs. The launch is set for April 2025.

RayNeo introduced the Air 3s at MWC 2025, which is positioned to be a more affordable pair of XR glasses but with better specs than the Air 2s. As for the price, these new XR glasses are set to cost $259 a pair, while the predecessors went for $399 at launch.

While there is a noticeable price difference, the Air 3s appear to be a better overall pick than RayNeo's Air 2s. One of the key upgrades is the company's HueView screen technology, which sports a micro-OLED screen with a tandem OLED structure. Per RayNeo, this makes the new XR glasses more capable of offering true-to-life, vivid colors with deep blacks.

The company also claims that the new RayNeo Air 3s meet the IMAX Enhanced criteria, with 145% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 accuracy, 200,000:1 contrast, and △E<2 color accuracy. We checked out the Air 2s in our hands-on review, and the display on the last-gen glasses was good enough for an immersive viewing experience. However, the blurry corners some users noticed were a major drawback of the last-gen glasses, which have seemingly been fixed with a larger eye box.

Another noticeable upgrade on the Air 3s is the peak brightness rating, which has jumped from 600 nits to 650 nits. This should lead to a slightly better viewing experience under harsh lighting conditions. We also noted the somewhat unimpressive audio from the built-in speakers of Air 2s in our review (EarFun Air Pro 4 curr. $59.99 on Amazon).

It seems RayNeo Air 3s has received an upgrade in that regard as well. The company is promising 200% better sound with a new dual-speaker design. As for the launch, the company aims to launch the new XR glasses in April 2025.
